Every now and then…

11 Mar

I start something that makes me wonder why… and what are you thinking…

This would be  one of those paintings – or should I say two of those. I decided I would do two full sheet poured paintings of mussel shells at the same time. Not entirely sure why. May have something to do with my next project the most complex poured painting I have ever attempted.  Also after completing the jar of peonies (Past Their Prime), I need to do something much looser!  Something that will not try my patience, give me palpitations or twist my brain.

This is a work in progress-I hope to have one completed within the week – while also finishing a commissioned seascape.
