WIP Maritime Blues – complete

I was pretty determined to complete this today. So it is really at the squinty eye stage – you know what I mean… stare at it this way and that way – looking for touch up places. As this was a poured painting of sorts, I really did not want to bring up really high key detail. Although I did start down that path somewhat. Then I caught myself. Wanted to leave evidence of the technique to get here since it was so involved.

    Gorgeous! I love how the yellows come through. Hard to believe it was a poured painting… looks pretty high detail to me!

    I have been following your progress on this one. I love the contrast between the watery blends and the sharp edges. Very nice!

      The real challenge here was knowing when to stop – I was afraid to overdo it and loose the sharp edges
